Feng Shui
Wealth and abundance is a life area in the Feng Shui system that you can explore to increase your income potential and decrease your outgoing cash flow, so let’s take a look at using Feng Shui for wealth.
Your Attitude Towards Wealth and Prosperity
You can’t succeed in using Feng Shui for wealth if you have negative thoughts concerning money, because the positive energy of Feng Shui can’t force you to have something that you don’t really want. If you believe that you are unworthy, incapable, or even too unselfish to be wealthy, then you will fail. If you believe that money is evil, then the good energy of chi cannot bring it to you.
To cleanse your thoughts, make a journal of all your thoughts and beliefs about wealth and study it to learn your outlook. Repeat a positive phrase about wealth and success to yourself as often as possible. Begin the habit of being grateful for everything you acquire, from a loaf of bread to that thing you always wanted. Give yourself at least six weeks to alter your attitude.
Applying Feng Shui for Wealth
A water fountain, aquarium or other water feature in the Southeast portion of your home, office or bedroom enhances the wood element that is part of the traditional Feng Shui for wealth. Avoid using metal in the Southeast corner because it destroys the element of wood. Use the color green and at least one of the wealth symbols like the money frog, happy Buddha, wealth ship or dragon fish, preferably something living since fish or plants bring a vital force to the elements. Finally, display a wealth basket prominently in your home.
Feng Shui Money Gardens
You can amplify your Feng Shui for wealth by planting a money garden. It should be situated on the Southeast corner of your property, whether that is the front yard, back yard or at the side of the house. At the front of your yard install a water fountain that is in proportion to the size of your home. The plants you choose should be lush and plentiful and grow easily in the conditions in your garden. They should be attractive and grow quickly.
Avoid plants that are hard to grow, delicate, or thorny. Carefully maintain the garden using plant foods and fertilizers that are harmonious with nature. Avoid artificial birds, butterflies and animals and attract the real thing as much as possible. Mix annuals and perennials. A garden of annuals symbolizes that nothing is constant, while having only perennials speaks of stagnation. The balance of both brings a steady flow of wealth.
